Big & Little Yoga. Sundays 1:00-2:00 pm 8/6-8/27  $79 (for 2 people)

Big and Little Yoga – Looking for something to do with a young person in your life?  Whether that Little be a child, a grandchild, niece, nephew… yoga can be a great way to have fun and share an adventure in self-discovery.  Designed for a class of partners, one adult (the Big) and one child aged 8 – 14 (the Little), this 4 – week cycle will bring a playful approach to yoga.  Whether this is an introduction or an add-on to other yoga experience, Big and Little Yoga will develop strength, flexibility, and awareness of the body and its movement.  Be prepared to laugh and experiment with your Little.  Join Cory, a yoga teacher and social worker with over 15 years of experience working with children of all ages, and her not-so-Little-anymore, Olivia: have fun and create a space for the two of you both on, and off, the mat. No makeup or refund for missed classes.

Abs & Core Strengthening, Tuesdays, 5:00-5:45pm, 8/8 – 8/29 $39

For everybody – The abdominal region of the body is the center of our balance and strength. We’ll focus on core strength exercises that will strengthen your abdominal muscles, back muscles and the muscles in the pelvis. This 45 minute class will improve your core strength and benefit you in everyday activities. NOTE: No refunds, credit or makeup for missed classes.

Hip Openers.  (Online Class – watch anytime) $2.99

Tight hips are not cool. More than a dozen muscles cross the hip joints. Learn how to get rid of pain and stiffness in the hips and how that may help your back feel better. This class is 60 minutes and is online – take it anytime you want – as many times as you want. One time fee of $2.99 gets you unlimited views.

Yoga 101. Wednesdays 5:30-6:30 pm 9/6-9/27  $39

For everybody – Yoga Beginner Basics offers brand-new beginners and others a safe and supportive environment to learn basic postures, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques. This beginner course will provide the student with knowledgeable instruction and with posture modifications for different bodies and abilities. No makeup or refund for missed classes.

Restorative Yoga with Reiki. 

For everybody – Restorative Yoga is a gentle form of Yoga that focuses on physical and mental relaxation through poses aided by props. You will be placed in various comfortable postures for several minutes and a Reiki practitioner will assist in your relaxation by giving Reiki energy to you while in each posture. Space is limited to 12

Yoga 101B – 4 weeks $39

Looking to eliminate stiffness, stress, pain? Our Yoga 101 Beyond the Basics class is a nice follow up to our Beginner Basics class but is also great place to start if you’re a little familiar with Yoga or have done some at home. The class focuses on proper alignment, how to do the poses safely, the right way. No makeup or refund for missed classes.

T’ai Chi. 

For everybody – T’ai Chi can bring new awareness and strengthen the meaning of your life. Body and mind harmonize and can awaken dormant energy to enhance work productivity, creativity, and sports performance. Increase your body’s inner energy and transform it into power, health, and well being. Beginners are welcome. NOTE: no refunds or makeup for missed classes.

Knee, Hip & Shoulder Friendly Yoga Mondays 5:00-6:00 pm $59 (class size limit 6)

For everybody – Over the years we’ve noticed a lot of folks coming to Yoga classes who have knee, hip or shoulder issues. Most of the time an all levels Yoga class can aggravate these areas. Time spent on your knees, too many down dogs and a lot of other poses that aggrevate these areas are all too common in your average Yoga class.  We believe there’s a better option. We’ve created a “Knee, Hip and Shoulder friendly routine” that is easy and careful not to aggravate these areas. It may also help to restore these areas of the body. 6 week session.

 

Overcoming Back Pain – Workshop & Class

For everybody – Do you experience lower back pain? Are you looking for relief? This workshop is specifically adapted for people with lower back pain and offers a safe, effective approach of gentle conditioning, postural alignment and relaxation. You’ll receive individualized attention for reducing your pain and discomfort, while addressing some of the underlying causes in a natural and healthy way. Earn CEU’s and/or makeup hours for TT.

Chair Yoga Workshop

For everybody (including Yoga teachers and trainees) – Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that is practiced sitting on a chair, or standing using a chair for support. Chair yoga is a great practice for everyone, as it deepens flexibility and strengthens body awareness. Chair yoga has helped people with the symptoms of many health issues including: hypertension (high blood pressure), anxietychronic fatigue syndromearthritisvertigo (medical)multiple sclerosis, Osteoporosis, Osteopenia, carpal tunnel syndromeclinical depression, and chronic pain.

Yoga Anatomy Workshop

For everybody (including Yoga teachers and trainees) – Ever wonder what muscles you’re using or stretching when you’re in a Yoga pose? Do you have proper alignment when doing the poses? Are you looking to get the most out of your Yoga practice? Then this workshop is for you!
